Women's Equality Day marks the anniversary of the passage in 1920 of the 19th Amendment that gave women the right to vote.

Friday, May 13, 2011 All Weekend Ventura - Look for more information in future LWVC Leaders UPDATES LWVC Convention: May 2011. Convention 2011 will take place over the weekend of May 13, 2011 in Ventura. The LWVC Board received two outstanding applications to host the 2011 convention. Both applicants provided good locations to hold our convention, and offered different, but equally interesting experiences for our members. The board reviewed both applications carefully.
